Welcome To The Family

What a head!  There were no coneheads in this room.  Korbin Dane Schimpf was born yesterday, April 20, 2009 at about 7:40 PM.  Check out that dimple.  Question: Is that a smile or just gas?

He was fully baked at 8lbs  3 oz and 20 inches

Kamden really liked him.  That's no pasted on smile.  It was very touching to see how gentle and careful he was with Korbin.  Let's see how long that will last.

Who looks that good after giving birth?  What a beautiful mom.  Dad on the other hand looks like a train wreck...but a happy train wreck.

Together is a great place to be.

My first Havasu!!
A red ant had a piece of Kamden for lunch.

Grandma and Kamden slake their thirst with a cool, refreshing Go-gurt

"Hey Kole, is that all he's got?"

Tubing is sweeeeeeeeeet!

Grandpa asked the grandkids to be on the look out for sharp things that would hurt us.  In the end, their were no more glass, nails, stakes, or bottlecaps to be found on our beach.

Grandpa kept track of all that was found, and who found it in his ledger.  The more tallies, the greater your reward.

Survivor: Lake Havasu.  Who will be kicked off the island and who will be left when all is said and done?

We should have guessed.  The sneaky little ones always find a way.

HOTTY ALERT!

Scaling the dune.

The summit.  We love Lake Havasu.

We haven't been to Havasu for three years.  This was Kamden's first.  The smiles will let you know how it went.  It's good to be back.

Kole was very anxious to wake up his new friend (and cousin), Kamden, on our last day.  He had a unique, though unsuccessful, way of helping Kamden awake to the new day.  It was necessary for us to intervene in the end (for reasons you will see).

Grampa's Home

Kam peeked through the blinds only to see good ol' Grampa parking his car up against the curb. He saw his chance to tackle, and CHARGED!!!
"HAHAHAHA, Grampa got me" yelled Kam as Grampa "tickled his brains out."
